Terms and Conditions of Sale
In order to benefit from the services offered by Un Bateau à Paris, we ask you to carefully read the terms and conditions below. These conditions govern the sale of excursions offered by the company. Booking an excursion implies full acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Booking conditions
- The booking becomes effective only with the agreement of Un Bateau à Paris, upon receipt of full payment for the service. Payment implies acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale when booking online.
- Bookings are only binding on Un Bateau à Paris if its booking service has accepted them, which Un Bateau à Paris is free to do or refuse, depending on availability.
- Un Bateau à Paris offers family-oriented excursions on the Seine, in the traditional sense of the term, its boats being specially designed for this purpose. Un Bateau à Paris reserves the right to refuse any booking that would be contrary to this principle.
- The booking of an excursion is made on a strictly personal basis. It may not be transferred, partially or in full, without the prior consent of Un Bateau à Paris.
Prices
The prices shown are valid for the current season. They correspond to an excursion whose duration and times are set in advance and for the number of passengers initially indicated at the time of booking. Prices are in euros, including VAT and port taxes.
Un Bateau à Paris reserves the right to refuse access to boats to groups or families arriving with more participants than the number of passengers initially declared at the time of booking.
Given the uncertainties associated with navigation on the Seine (lock passages, traffic, weather), the actual navigation time may vary by at least 15 minutes more or less from the initially planned theoretical duration. The client agrees to accept this principle, without being able to claim any compensation.
Payment conditions
Full payment for the service must be made at the time of booking, either by paying directly from the website at the time of booking, or upon receipt of an invoice issued by Un Bateau à Paris. The booking is held from the date of electronic dispatch of the invoice for a period of 24 hours.
No right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L121-19 of the French Consumer Code, Un Bateau à Paris informs its clients that the sale of services provided on a specific date, or at a specific frequency, is not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period provisions.
Cancellation and modifications
- Booking modification: The Client may request to modify their excursion package (date, times, number of passengers, additional services) by written request to Un Bateau à Paris (post or email) up to 2 days before the excursion date. If unavailable, the Client must complete their excursion under the initial booking conditions. No postponement to the following season will be accepted.
- No-show at boarding: No-show at boarding or excursion interrupted or shortened at your request (late arrival, early return request) cannot give rise to any refund.
- Cancellation by Un Bateau à Paris: Except in cases of force majeure, the trip will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
- Cancellation by the client:
- Cancellation more than 2 days before the departure date and time: 50% of the amounts paid will be refunded.
- Cancellation less than 2 days before the departure date and time: the client cannot claim any refund.
Weather conditions cannot be a sufficient pretext for cancelling your excursion. Only the pilot can decide, for safety or regulatory reasons, not to proceed with passenger boarding.
